First Burn Matters Most
Always allow the candle to burn until the wax melts evenly across the entire surface (edge to edge). This may take 2 – 4 hours depending on candle size. A full melt pool prevents tunneling and helps your candle last longer.
Thank you for choosing Glimmer Ceylon. Our candles are hand-poured with care using premium ingredients. Follow this simple candle care guide to enjoy the best fragrance throw, burn quality, and safety from your candle.
Always allow the candle to burn until the wax melts evenly across the entire surface (edge to edge). This may take 2 – 4 hours depending on candle size. A full melt pool prevents tunneling and helps your candle last longer.
Trim the wick to ¼ inch (5–6 mm) before each burn. This ensures a steady flame, reduces soot, and improves fragrance performance. If the flame is too high or flickering, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight.
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool and solidify before relighting. This helps preserve fragrance and prevents overheating the container.
Place candles on a heat-resistant, stable surface. Keep away from drafts, fans, air conditioners, or open windows. Drafts can cause uneven burning, dripping, or smoking.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not move the candle while wax is hot or liquid. Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom.
Keep matches, wick trimmings, and debris out of the wax pool. Clean wax ensures a clean burn and protects the wick.
Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax and straighten it back up. Avoid blowing out the candle to reduce smoke and wax splatter.
Once finished, allow the container to cool completely. Clean with warm water and mild soap. Reuse your Glimmer Ceylon jar as décor, storage, or a planter.
